Litters

— 2023 (tentative): Marcus x Maisie

We are a small hobby breeder and as such, emphasize quality over quantity, breeding very seldom despite being active in German Shorthaired Pointers since 1987. In planning a breeding, we carefully consider the pedigrees, health, temperaments and characteristics of both the male and female, with a view toward enhancing the breed. All health clearances as recommended by the German Shorthaired Pointer Club Of America (and then some) are done beforehand and registered with the Orthopedic Foundation of America. Puppies are whelped in our home and raised in a loving environment amidst our family. At eight weeks, the puppies are ready to go to their new homes., and will leave with the following:

  • AKC registration paperwork
  • Records of first vaccinations and well-puppy exam
  • Microchip paperwork
  • Useful information:
    • Feeding schedule and instructions
    • Vaccination schedule
    • General puppy care information
    • General health information pertinent to the breed
    • Training and socialization tips
  • A toy and blanket that mom and siblings have played with and left their scent on
  • A copy of our contract

IIf you’re interested in a Windward puppy, please contact us for a non-binding application form so we can get to know you, and try and match you with the right puppy for your home and lifestyle.
